I agree with mjc. Your bike looks like it could kick arse with one leg tied behind its back.

Cockpit Hill was knocked down in the early 70's and replaced with a shopping centre. I could find two signs that referred to the 'area'. Both were on road direction signs this is one of them.

Just for a bit of interest?? There is also a pub of the same name on the lane.

Knockerdown is an 'area' rather than a particular place, I think! I could not find a sign but there is a pub with that name in the area, hope this will do?

Not on the list but this lane is not far from me and pass it regularly on the way to the Peak District.
I think you can make out what the name is and is it good enough to be added to the list?
Known as something else to a few of the boys but I couldn't say what!!!  <!-- s:violence-smack: -->:violence-smack:<!-- s:violence-smack: -->

I was riding home last night and the Sat Nav took me right across country and told me to turn left 'Weathercock Hill', so I did. Not sure if its a completely dodgy name but I took a photo anyway.

Weathercock Hill, Chevington, Suffolk

Well this one was a bit of a let down, this pub, The Royal Oak, is in Cock Lane in an area called Cuckoo's Knob. Unfortunately there isn't a road sign for either Cock Lane or Cuckoo's Knob and even the Sat Nav just says A346 all the way through. It's in a little hamlet called Wootton Rivers, which is near Marlborough and just a half mile or so from the Ram Alley picture I posted a few weeks ago.

Nevermind, it was a good excuse to waste petrol getting lost in the countryside.

For anyone brave enough to search for 'Bushy Gap' in Northumberland, they will most probably pass by 'The Gusset' farm about a mile away on the same road  :)

Working for the local 'leccy board I have to chuckle at some of the names of switches and substations. There is a Bushy Gap switch and a Bushy Gap s/s and also The Gusset s/s. When I worked in the North West, United Utilities (as they were, now ENW) had a substation in Kendal called 'Dick Intake' s/s. True.
It's pronounced 'twenty-one-twelve'
