So my 2015 Vstrom 1000 should be here Monday - for my sins have been riding a Caponord ETV 1000 for the last few years since my return to a road bikes ( I'm 56 btw but have also been in to green lanes and trail bikes for too many years to mention) The Capo was a lovely bike when all was well but having done some touring on said machine ( Ireland, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland & France over concurrent years) decided I wanted a bike that would a) not constantly need attention & inspection b) not constantly give me concerns as to which parts would explode/implode/melt or generally fail without any warning on the next trip to Europe. So here I am - thanks for letting me on the forum looking forward to my new machine with hopefully less concerns for reliability. Hope I have made the right choice.
