Big Bird Escapes the garage
« on: April 07, 2018, 20:54:10 »
Took the dust sheets off of Big Bird at the beginning of the week and put her onto commuting duties. Today I put some miles under her wheels and visited Ullapool via the main road and back via some roads without white lines down the middle  :lala:

Just a couple of photo’s, cos I was enjoying the ride too much to stop that often

Thought I'd add to this thread, seeing as I took Big Bird out again at the weekend.

Joined a pal for a ride up to view the summer isles from Achiltibui, via one of the lesser used single track roads that run up the middle of this end of the Highlands.

Big Bird and a Big Lump . . . . . the Beemer, not the rock thingy behind it

View to the summer isles

Big Lumps rider doing the "thousand yard" stare

View from the veranda of a local pub

A little over 300 miles for me, with Big Bird sipping fuel on the lesser roads and letting rip when there was a white line down the middle of the carriageway

Even got a bit dirty - no pictures as local land owners might get upset
