New Glee
« on: March 16, 2018, 19:34:02 »
So this is my recently picked up Glee.  Bought from a bloke in Reading, it's now going to be used as a commuter from the Isle of Sheppey into London.

It's got 9k on the clock and had plenty of extras included.  I paid £3800 on a private sale which I thought was alright.

It's nearly the same size as the VFR and a fair amount lighter.  My garage just got a whole lot smaller.

I'm really looking forward to owning, maintaining and using this bike.  I find that where the Honda has been under warranty and a pre-paid service agreement, I've not had any opportunities to get my hands dirty.

The Glee wasn't perfect, so I've already spent a few hours this week getting stuck in.

Lots of bits coming in the post and a few bits to be ordered in the coming months...

What can I say?  I never considered a 650 Vstrom before.  But, what a bike.  It's much better than I thought it would be.

Good looking bike. When you get chance to dig deeper get the tank off and check the connectors above the radiator are sufficiently protected from the weather  :thumb:

Nice pair of bikes. I still think the Crosstourers are a great looking machine.
Old enough to know better, but still too young to care...
