Smith & Allan oil
« on: November 03, 2017, 13:28:16 »
Smith & Allan are based in Darlington & blend their own oils for a wide variety of uses, I popped in yesterday to pick up some more of their own branded motorcycle engine oil - it has actually come down in price to around £11 for a proper 5ltr container (1 & 20ltr also available), that IMHO is a steal for quality 10/40 semi synthetic motorcycle specific oil, it meets SL & JASO MA2 spec, although they do other grades I believe

I've been using it for decades for bike, car, commercial & agricultural oils and have no connection with them other than being a satisfied customer.

Thought it was worth a heads up

To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

looking at Hondaman's first post you could have bought four 5 litre containers for £44, or did you buy a different product...? £57 for 20 litres is still bloody good vfm though. :thumb:

Their pricing can seem somewhat fluid (pun intended). I have in the past, priced 20l and it comes in more expensive than 4x5ltr, as it's easier to pour from a 5ltr than 20, that's what I stick to now anyway.

BTW, they do their own brand DW40 & waxoil etc in 1 & 5ltr at good prices.

I should be on commission!
