Hello all, just passed my direct access test so after 6 hours on a bike I've gone out and bought a 650 v-strom. Why didn't I do this 20 years ago? Everything is exciting, washing it, nipping out to get a pint of milk (Often to a shop 30miles away!) or just looking at it in the garage, how sad am I? Still a bit wobbley but I'm getting better with 1500 miles under my belt I still haven't dropped it. Lets hope it stays that way, as it's very shiny, very black with all the stickers taken off, I think the bloke I bought it off didn't want people to know it wasn't a 1000cc. I'm near kendal and have a lot of time off so let me know if you fancy a ride out.

I sometimes work in the lakes and even when I'm not working go up there a lot......mebe we arrange a meet sometime soon.

Hello Kendal Newbie from Razzoman in distant Windermere! I have just bought an early V-Strom and am picking it up this weekend, hopefully. Perhaps when I'm able to tell one end from the other we might manage a ride out to Devil's Bridgeor beyond?
