Bat out of hell
« on: June 30, 2018, 22:18:12 »
Daughter no.2 kindly bought tickets for the Bat Out of Hell stage show in London. The show was excellent, a must for Meatloaf fans. The ten hour bimble on the Strom was the only way to travel  :sunny:

If you do go (Dominion Theatre), there is an underground Car Park in the next street. £6 all day for bikes.

Paradise by the dual headlight?
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

*Pedant alert*

Ain't no doubt about it
We were doubly blessed
'Cause we were barely seventeen
And we were barely dressed

Mr. Power, I was alluding to the present day and the target audience for the show.   :icon_wink:

(And dual headlights were never mentioned in the song either, if you want to be a peasant pedant.)

That is fookin' spooky Rusty, that is what I sing to Mrs Power when I head to the cabinet for a dessert spoon of goodness.

I also sing it when I have deliveries in Alfreton, oh Alfreton.

Apologies Andy for the hijack. :)
