Hi everyone
« on: July 28, 2017, 22:40:58 »
Recently joined the forum and thought I'd say hello, I have the Kawasaki KLV 1000 version, so hope you'll have me!
I've always had Kawasaki's and currently have a few classics ,a Z1a, Z900a4, H2b, S3a, couple of KH250's and a modern ZX10r. All my classics are restored to concourse, so I admit I'm anal about keep going them clean, so they're strictly for dry, summer days only.
I decided to get a bike I didn't mind getting dirty and could use in bad weather, so dropped on a low mileage 55 plate KLV1000. To be honest, I obviously knew of the V-strom but had never heard of the Kawasaki variant but knowing the TL motor was a good one and having read a view good reviews, she joined the fleet.
Six weeks and 1500 miles later and I absolutely love this bike, the motor, the riding position, the way it eats miles, performance, even the styling! I'd never really got the adventure bike thing before but the KLV has totally converted me.
