Hi.
we left Lofoten a couple of days ago and went to Narvik. Not so many Pictures of this leg but the scenery is much of the same as you have seen. we stayed in Narvik for two days visiting relatives and for the WW2  Museum, there was a great Battle in Narvik were many British soldiers fought With the Norwegians and drove the Nazi's out of Narvik. But sadly Our allies where called to Normandie and Narvik where again on Nazi`s hands. I don't now if this is interesting but the Museum in Narvik is Worth a stop if you are coming this way.

hi. today we are touring below the artic circle.
we started in Fauske above the artic circle and when we took the ferry Jektvik - Kilboghamn we passed the artic circle and there is now more midnight sun. so there are maybe only 23 hours daylight. we stopped for the day in Aldersund because we wanted to save the hole day tomorrow to the rest of this crazy beautiful area. for those of you that are going to travel in this part of Norway, take your time, don't hurry!
have to mention that we also passed the famous Saltstraumen, on of the worlds strongest tide streams (v-strom).

I watched the Saltstraumen whirlpools on You tube - most impressive. Did you get to see the northern lights?

well below the artic circle the weather is fantastic, so even if the midnight sun is no longer present I don't think there will be any dark tonight . we started today in Aldersund and 3 Ferry's later we stoped in Brønnøysund.
 I can`t explain the beauty of the landscape we are passing but I have some videos that seems that the format is wrong, maybe I can fix it when I am back home. I will then show you the videos.
