Touratech sump guard.
« on: January 28, 2018, 11:41:52 »
I've finally made my decision after buying a genuine bash plate without the morning hardware to buy the touratech one instead. I now it's not the cheapest option but I think it looks better and provides more clearance if I go off the tarmac :) plus I can get rid of the rusty oil cooler pipes at the same time. Only issue now is it's going to take 3 weeks to deliver from Germany....
Anybody else have one fitted? Mine will be on a 05 650 :)

Just an update, still not received it or been given a date for delivery. Starting to think it's not going to
 Get here...
Also got thinking about the fitment, does anybody know if it will fit with genuine crash bars?

I've got one on my 2016 Veek. Superb quality but mine took ages to come. Apparently they wait for enough to be ordered then they have a production run. Well worth the wait though. As for fitting the front supports bolt on the inside of the crash bars where the main engine bolts go through. If you go on there site you can download the fitting instructions.
