One of those Oil change dilemmas ...
« on: June 08, 2018, 19:51:50 »
Hello all,

I know there are a lot of questions and posts about Oil change but as every case is a bit different I hope it's OK to ask about this particular one what I have

I am picking up my "new" L2 Wee2  next Thursday and the previous owner did oil change every April regardless how less he used it. As in the last two years  she has only done 500 miles in each year but the oil change has happened in both years.

The last Oil change was in 2017 April 500 miles ago , should I change it after I have bought it or can I keep it for a first 1-2 month (~1,5-2k miles) and before my Europe trip I would change it anyways.

Any advice and perspective welcome!

Thanks,
Botond

I would change it, simply because it is a cheap and easy thing to do.
Old enough to know better, but still too young to care...

Google the following "youtube + v-strom oil change". There are a few short videos to guide you.

 :ty:

I will do oil/filter change, as it is very simple and cheap. Can't cause harm with it for sure with some fresh oil in the engine.

Thank you for the advices. I will check out a "how to" just in case.  ????
