Hi all!
I can see other lights have been discussed here, and some more cheaper (Creed U7). But since I aim to keep the bike many years, and it is my understanding that MOT is about to became tougher about aftermarket modifications regards, I am looking to this Givi lights ( currently £110 in Amazon).
Can I have your thoughts?
Thanks. :thumb:

I had them, they are well made. I did experiment with LED bulbs for them but they didn't last.
-
Bear in mind that two will draw over 9 amps :thumb:

Got them on mine and I like them. Three years now and just one bulb change! But as stated draw a fair bit of current so I don't use them all the time, I have some small LED's that are on permanently.

The replacement bulbs are expensive. They are a bit ‘old tech’ now
-
After experimenting with LED's I did manage to buy a quantity of the standard fitment bulbs pretty cheaply through eBay.

9amps? Ouch... My plan was to use them as day-lights lamps...
I understand it may not been the best plan then?
I use my Glee as comuter too, so I need to see in winter and be seen in summer...

Hello!
I finally got the auxiliary lights from GIVI.
They look really well and solid.
I've been fitting them today, however I have an issue, maybe you can help me here
The lights can be connected to ignition, so they turn off with the bike switch. I read it is possible to use the lights cable, so I thought in the rear light, as it suits my cable arrangements.
Here is where my doubts arise. The rear light have 3 cables, grey, black with white line and white with black line. Which one is the positive? I don't want to mess it up.
Thank you!

No need for relays mate, and luckily when you remove the tail section there are 3 crimped joints in the wires that you need. You just solder a short 3 core tail onto these wires and this gives you room to wire up / solder the tails from the lights.
Wire colours are
Grey - tail light
Black with white stripe - ground / earth
White with black stripe - brake
