Givi Handguards
« on: April 11, 2018, 19:53:11 »
Anybody fitted the Givi Handguards to the 2017 650 strom?

I've just found out they're 25 quid more expensive than Suzuki ones!!!
If you could throw a picture on, that would be much appreciated!

don't bother - they are crap....  I was foolish enough to buy them without really studying the pictures and was VERY disappointed.  They are just flimsy plastic windguards and hugely overpriced...  Other Givi stuff I have bought has been good but these are a joke...

As FB, very disappointed . I don't think the oem ones are any better. Will go for a third party item when my bank balance recovers.

Thanks for the replies chaps, Looks like ill go for the cheaper OEM ones then.

I know they're not quite as good "guards" as some of the barkbuster options, I would be using them mostly as wind deflectors (/Car mirror deflectors).
I will stick with the OEM as I know where I stand with those at least! I'm a bit disappointed as the Givi stuff is usually extremely good! I have a Givi sumpguard and crash bars (and apart from fitting) are very good! - and numerous top boxes...
